To Place a Section Plane

The Place Section Plane function enables you to insert a section plane in the drawing using AccuDraw e.g. RE (Rotate Element) function at selection of existing raceway system.

Select Place Section Plane from the 2D Extraction ribbon.
In the RWSECTIONPLANE dialog, select a mode (Cross Section or Parallel Section) for the Section Plane.
In the RWSECTIONPLANE dialog, edit the property values for the Section Plane settings ( Width, Height, Depth, etc.).
Enter the coordinates for the insertion point, or pick a point in the drawing (AccuDraw option RE to rotate to raceway element).
Right-click to end the command.
Note: Raceway drawings must be connected as references and visible in the 2D Extraction drawing.
